The objective of this study was to establish a sound empirical basis for evaluating the socio-economic and smallholder agricultural commercialization impact of rural road transport investments and operations at household and community levels. The survey focused on access to agricultural inputs and markets, transportation costs, farmer incomes and post-harvest losses.
