Appreciating the importance of research to development project planning and implementation as well as policy development, we offer first rate research services in rigorous investigation and analysis of developmental, social, historical, commercial and cultural conditions as a basis for development project planning, implementation and evaluation. These research unveil insights into the situations challenging developing nations today, thereby increasing understanding of the issues relevant for development policy and paving a path for the rapid integration of practical, people-centred solutions into developmental policy and practice.
Monitoring and Evaluation
Given the increasing need for accountability and learning in donor-sponsored projects and the development space generally, Mbani offers the requisite capacity to undertake a complete range of M&E services across selected sectors, measuring project effectiveness and impact; producing feedback and a strong evidence base to improve programmes, policy making and knowledge. We also boast the ability to assist organizations to design, manage and review monitoring systems for programmes and projects; and advice governments and relevant agencies on how to develop M&E systems for public sector management and poverty reduction strategies. Our assignments have collected and analysed baseline, follow-on and endline data, measuring project effectiveness and impact, and producing feedback and a strong evidence base to improve programs, policy-making and knowledge. Over the years, we have undertaken M&E-related services for a diverse range of clients, especially the World Bank.
