Who we are

MBANI... fostering sustainable development

Mbani Development is a specialized development consultancy company that focuses on development research and agribusiness development. It was founded in Nigeria in 2008 but has since established regional presence in Kenya and South Africa, undertaking evaluations and research in, and providing support to, development interventions that seek to improve the socio-economic well-being and the productive capacities of disadvantaged populations in Africa.
Objectives

Our key objective is to continually support development actors and the peoples of Africa to fulfill critical development objectives. We employ unique and innovative approaches to development and are committed to deploying practical and context-specific strategies in achieving our goals of liberating disadvantaged populations and fostering sustainable development with a view to expand the range of choices of individuals and strengthen communities.

Mbani has worked with a diverse range of development actors, especially the World Bank and the International Institute for Local Development, fulfilling critical research functions within large and impactful interventions.
